Madona county (Madonas apriņķis) was one of the five counties of Vidzeme in the interwar period.

It is bordered by Cēsis and Valka counties to the north, Abrēne county (Latgale province) to the east, Rēzekne and Daugavpils counties (both Latgale province) to the south and Rīga county to the west.
