Jelgava county (Jelgavas apriņķis) was one of the five counties of Zemgale in the interwar period.

It is bordered by Rīga (Vidzeme province) and Tukums counties in the north, Bauska county in the east, Lithuania in the south and Kuldīga and Liepāja counties (both in Kurzeme province) to the west.
