Rīga county (Rīgas apriņķis) was one of the five counties of Vidzeme in the interwar period.
It is bordered by Valmiera county in the north, Cēsis and Madona counties in the east, Jelgava, Bauska and Jēkabpils counties (all in Zemgale province) in the south and Tukums county (Zemgale province) and the Baltic Sea in the West.
