Valmiera county (Valmieras apriņķis) was one of the five counties of Vidzeme in the interwar period. It was located in northwestern Vidzeme, bordering Estonia to the north, Valka county to the east, Cēsis and Rīga counties to the south and the Baltic Sea to the west.
